1 Day trip to Jinja
The highlight of our tour of Jinja city will be Mabira Forest which is a rainforest area covering about 300 km² in Uganda located in the Mukono District is home for many endangered species like the primates.The forest has a record of 300 bird species.
After a visit to Mabira forest we shall have a stopover at the 30m high Owen falls Dam. This dam supplies hydroelectricity to Kenya and Uganda. We shall thereafter visit the Bujagali falls the only place where one gets close to River Nile to experience the awesome rumble of the falls and enjoy the spectacular view. We shall thereafter visit the Source of the Nile where the river Nile leaves Lake Victoria and flows to Khartoum through Egypt up to the Mediterranean Sea.
We shall thereafter return to Kampala.
