Kibale Forest National Park Uganda

KIBALE NATIONAL PARK.

Kibale National Park is situated in western Uganda and can be accessed via fort portal town. It is home of primates and to the closest relatives to man ( the chimpanzees). The most accessible of Uganda's major rainforests,
Kibale is home to a remarkable 13 primate species, including the much localised red colobus and L'Hoest's monkey.

Kibale's major attraction, however, is the opportunity to track habituated chimps - these delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees.

A Kibale is the place to recommend promatologists. Did you know that the gene count of chimps is 98% similar to that of man? Their feeding and way of life will certainly leave you with no doubt how like man they are! The different primates will definitely crown your visit to this park. The Park also hosts one of the world’s densest concentrations of volcanic crater lake several bird and butterfly species.
